The Social Media Life: Leading to dual personality?

You are pretty different than what I thought!

You are different than what you seem!

You have changed!

These are few of many exclamations that we hear out around us. In my observation this happens mostly when a person starts spending time with you or another in person or interact physically then over the rectangles (phone).

This happens because a person knows you or another only by the profile that you share on social media, person gets to know only those views that you filtered and posted, let's admit it's not the original thought that we share over the social media, we think then filter and then only we post !

In the legal terms you may say it's an original work of the author but what I am talking about is not that originality but the originality of the thought, the original personality that one has. I don't know for what reason we present an image of ourselves over the social media which is not actually what we are, maybe it's peer pressure or social pressure but in the long run its creating an illusion for you and others.

It looks amazing, feels amazing as long as you start interacting with people in person because, what they perceive about you is what is out there over the social media which is really not you it's a character that you made over the internet.

Then it comes up that you have changed, you are really not what I thought you are and the story never ends or better say all the stories end, relationships end because people want to have relationships with like minded people which they perceive you are according to your social profile.

Now the pressure is different "The Pressure of Losing out People" in order to keep the relationship intact you start living a life that you had portrayed on the social media, you start killing your idea, your wishes, your thoughts. Is it not a dual personality that you are leading ?

Be yourself !

Keep your ideas original !

You are a unique creation of God and live your life as you want to, not under the societal pressure, I am sure you will be loved more and have better relationships.

Don't live in illusion be true to yourself!!
