Aspirations, Expectations and Satisfaction - Triangular cage of our lives

Well, let me start by putting forth a simple question. What is it that makes you or in most cases forces you to get out of the warmth and comforts of your bed and get on to work every morning?
And if I may add, what is the feeling you want to have while going back into the bed every night ?
Now when we look at it closely, this full cycle of the day is somewhat similar to a complete lifespan. Let's take a second and think about why did you get out of the bed and went to work today ? Actually, there are two major factors responsible for this. One is our aspirations. The needs and desires that we have in ourselves to become something or to acquire something or to reach somewhere. The aspirations are mostly internal feelings and thoughts. The people who are enthusiastically chasing their aspirations are more likely to be happy and are able to work things out sooner or later in life and in the ways they wanted.
There's another factor that is mostly external and plays a big role in our lives, that is expectations. The expectations, our friends, family, spouse and society have from us. Luckily or unluckily, many a times this factor plays dominant role in our decision making and actions. Unfortunately many dreams die an immature death because the people and the society force them to do what they want them to do.
Nevertheless, aspirations and expectations are the two factors that drive our lives all the time and whatever we do is the consequence of them. Well this was about our morning and the tussle of the day.
Let's move on to the later part of the question, the night. There's one thing or a feeling we all are chasing in our day to day hustle and that is 'Satisfaction'. We want to be content and satisfied after everything we do, after shedding every drop of sweat, cramping each muscle in our body and paining all the nerves of our brain. We want to be rather we deserve to be happy and satisfied. But do we actually get that feeling of satisfaction everyday, after accomplishing every task in hand?
Well it won't be wrong if I say 'Satisfaction' is a mirage for many. But in reality they get disillusioned by the path they take up to achieve satisfaction. Well, yes I agree that human is a social animal and we certainly cannot run away from the expectations of the society and life can never be all me and mine. But if we want to achieve the satisfaction in life, we need to strike a balance between our aspirations and others' expectations. Ultimate joy is not just achieveing something you always wanted but also having people with you to share your achievements and success. At the end of the day success is not a trophy or some prized possession, it's a feeling which we feel internally. And that feeling is never complete untill you have someone to share it with.
As being a ' Freedumb Seeker' myself I don't mean to throw ' Gyaan' at you. I am just saying next time when you start something new, don't do it just because it is expected from you, do things that you desire to do and aspire to do. But in that case also don't neglect people and society. Just find a proper balance between your aspirations and their expectations, ulitimately the 'Satisfaction' will be waiting for you in the bed at night ( Stop your double meaning thoughts and focus on the point I am trying to make here ). Till then enjoy yourself and explore my other blogs as well.
Well defined the satisfaction concept 💯 #Apt
